Patricia L. Evans, 78, Huntingburg

Patricia L. Evans, 78, of Huntingburg, formerly of Evansville, passed away peacefully at 8:10 p.m., on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at The Waters of Huntingburg.  She was surrounded by family and friends.

She was born March 17, 1940, to Cecil Ira and Catherine Elizabeth (Smith) Goff. Pat worked as a caregiver. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and crosswords. She also enjoyed helping with the annual Girl Scout cookie fundraiser.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; eleven siblings; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Schoening of Huntingburg; two grandchildren, Brandon Walker of Evansville and Kaci (Bradley) Leck of Huntingburg; six great-grandchildren, Molly, Tyler, Brittnee, Devin, Chase, and Abigail; one great-great-grandson, Bryson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at The Waters of Huntingburg for their love and compassion concerning Pat’s care.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
