Patricia J. Collins, 83, Jasper

Patricia J. Collins, 83, of Jasper, passed away early Sunday morning, April 3, at the Northwood Good Samaritan Center in Jasper.

She was born November 23, 1932, in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Carlton and Gracie (Sanders) Wilson.

Patricia was a former housekeeper at the French Lick Hotel and enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, going to car races and family.

Patricia is survived by two daughters, Judy Martin of Loogootee and Carol (Mark) Humbert of Jasper, four sons, David Collins SR (Ann) of Eaton, Danny Collins, SR of Shoals, Frank Collins, SR of Hartford City and Ronald Collins SR of Shoals; one brother Jerry Wilson of Galveston, Ind.; 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, Bill Collins JR; two daughters, Beverly Sue Collins and Freda Bell Collins; one brother and four sisters.

Funeral services for Patricia will be held Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Garden View funeral home in Muncie with Deta Starbuck-Lasley officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton Volunteer Fire Department.
