Patricia A. Reckelhoff, 70, St. Anthony

Patricia A. Reckelhoff, 70, of St. Anthony, passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. 

Pat was born in Jasper on July 9, 1950, to Bernard and Emma (Sander) Kluemper.

She married Bill Reckelhoff on July 1, 1972, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland. 

Pat was a graduate of Ireland High School in 1968. She was a teacher’s assistant at Southeast Dubois School Corporation for more than 30 years. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish – St. Anthony Campus where she taught religious education. She was also a member of the bereavement meal committee and the St. Anthony Community Center. 

She enjoyed bingo, thrift shopping, traveling with her family, spending time with grandkids and supporting their various activities.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bill Reckelhoff of St. Anthony; two daughters, Donna (Alan) Wise of Depauw and Karen (Daniel) Hall of St. Anthony; one son, Jason (Kelly) Reckelhoff of St. Anthony; six grandchildren, Olivia and Katie Wise, Emma, Ethan, Ellie Hall and Whitney Reckelhoff; two sisters, Debbie (Dennis) Elliott and Ruth (Ralph) Miller; two brothers, Gene (Pat) Kluemper and Mike Kluemper. 

Preceding her in death besides her parents, are one sister, Norma Denu, and one brother, Dennie Kluemper.

A private Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia A. Reckelhoff will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  A private family visitation will be held at the church. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish and the Lange Fuhs Cancer Center.
