Patoka 2000 seeks donations for holiday bridge decorations

Patoka 2000, the beautification committee of the Jasper Chamber, is accepting donations to decorate the urns on the Patoka River Bridge for the holiday and winter seasons.

The deadline to contribute to the winter project is Dec. 5.

The committee welcomes donations of any amount from individuals, families or businesses throughout the community. Donors can specify that their contribution honors someone, remembers someone, or supports a favorite cause.

Family members and friends are encouraged to pool their contributions for the beautification project. It’s a meaningful way to remember a loved one or a cause while enjoying the decorated bridge area each time you drive across it.

A classified ad will run in The Ferdinand News in mid-December listing all donors and the people or causes they’d like to have remembered or honored.

Donations can be sent directly to Patoka 2000 at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce at P.O. Box 307, Jasper, Indiana 47547-0307.
