Pala Fay Peach, 45, of Newburgh, formerly of Holland, went to be with Jesus on March 28, 2017, in Lake Bluff, Illinois.

She was born November 6, 1971, at the hospital in Huntingburg to Jerlene Ann (Todrank) and Robert Paul Peach.

Pala grew up in Holland where she attended grade school and then went on to graduate from Southridge High School and the University of Southern Indiana, where she received her bachelor of science degree. She completed her clinical studies at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where she graduated as a Registered Medical Technologist.  Pala lived in Aspen, Colorado for ten years.  She loved the mountains and all the outdoor winter activities, and always looked forward to attending family reunions at Burdette Park.

In her later years, Pala enjoyed traveling as an RMT, accepting work assignments in many states. She had just finished such an assignment at Midwestern Regional Medical Cancer Center in Northern Chicago and was ready to go to her next assignment in Elko, Nevada when she passed away. Pala made friends easily and has left behind many friends in the hospital laboratories where she worked.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Bob, who passed away in August 2006.

She is survived by her mother, Jerlene A. Peach of Evansville; siblings, Perry Jay (Donna) Peach of Henderson, KY, Pamela Kay Peach of San Antonio, TX, Philip Ray (Jenny) Peach and Paul Jeffray (Christi) Peach both of Newburgh; uncles, Joe (Jan) Todrank and Gary (Jeanne) Peach; cousins, Jayne, Janet, Tim, Tom, Denny, Penny and Anne; and her godchild, Payton Mattingly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Holland United Methodist Church in Holland with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
