Oscar Franklin Worman, 83

Oscar Franklin Worman, age 83, of Holland, Indiana, passed away at 9:50 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at The Waters of Huntingburg nursing center in Huntingburg.

He was born April 22, 1929 in Duff, Indiana to Omar and Dora (Bryce) Worman.

He married Geneva E. Howard at Mount Carmel, Illinois in 1966. Oscar worked at Farbest Foods and also for local furniture manufacturers. He was a member of the Holland United Methodist Church and Shiloh United Methodist Church; and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Geneva E. Worman, who passed away July 20, 2002; two brothers, Harold Enlow and Charles Worman; and three sisters – Neoma Eckert, Rosalee Underwood and Shirley Zink.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Sue Worman of Holland, IN and one sister, Margie Houchin of Huntingburg, IN.

Funeral services for Oscar Franklin Worman will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday.
