Oscar F. Eisenhut, 95
Oscar F. Eisenhut, age 95, passed away at 11:25 a..m. Saturday (January 5, 2013) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born at Haysville, Indiana (February 27, 1917) to Adam and Nora (Leistner) Eisenhut. He married Lovella Sendelweck May 10, 1949 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville; She preceded him in death on June 22, 2003.
Oscar was a retired Farmer in the Haysville Community and also had worked for the Wabash Valley Produce in Dubois, Haysville Mill and the United States Department of Agriculture Crop Program.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville where he served as a past council president.
He enjoyed the outdoors and caring for his animals.

Two sons,
- Thomas Eisenhut and spouse Becky, San Antonio, TX
- John Eisenhut and spouse Becky, Haysville, IN
Thirteen grandchildren and ten great -grandchildren.
Preceding him in death besides his wife, was one grandson.
Funeral services for Oscar Eisenhut will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (January 11, 2013) in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville. The Rev. Charla Grieves will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday (January 10, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper; also one hour before services at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or to the Dubois County Humane Society.
