Operation Double Trouble update: additional cases resolved

On April 14, 2016, Cary K. Trusty, 69, Huntingburg, entered into a plea agreement in which he agreed to plead guilty to Dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance, a Level 3 felony.
The agreement calls for Mr. Trusty to be sentenced to six (or 4.5 actual) years executed at the Indiana Department of Correction, followed by three (or 2.25 actual) years served on Level 1 Adult Day Reporting.
Mr. Trusty’s case is set for sentencing in the Dubois County Superior Court on May 18, 2016, at 1:00 p.m.
Also on April 14, 2016, Matthew E. Cronin, 27, Tell City, was taken into custody on an
arrest warrant issued after he failed to appear at his sentencing hearing set for April 6.
On April 15, Mr. Cronin was sentenced pursuant to a plea agreement to four years at the Indiana Department of Correction. Mr. Cronin previously pled guilty to dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony.
The two individuals with charges in Dubois County stemming from Operation Double Trouble that remain pending at this time are Adrienne L. Holmes and DeWayne L. Bouillon (the
fact that a person has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty).
