One road remains impacted by flooding

Flood conditions across Dubois County have improved dramatically following recent road monitoring by the Dubois County Highway Department, with only one county road remaining closed despite additional rainfall overnight.

The Dubois County Highway Department reports that just one road remains closed — CR 800 West in Madison Township, north of CR 300 South, due to the Patoka River. All other roads that were previously closed due to flooding from both the recent weekend storm event and last night’s rain have reopened.

Motorists are advised to continue using caution on area roads and never attempt to drive through standing water. Road conditions are being monitored, and closures will be updated as water levels change.
