Olive Partenheimer, 94

Olive Partenheimer, 94, of Princeton, formerly of Birdseye, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
She was met in Heaven by her loving husband, Walter “Doug” Partenheimer.
Olive was a strong Christian woman who showed her love for God in the way that she lived, teaching her family, friends and everyone she met the way to live life and to trust everything to God.
She was born December 9, 1920 in Dubois County, Indiana, to Fred and Pearl (Madley) Peterson.
She graduated with the French Lick High School Class of 1939 and married Walter J. “Doug” Partenheimer on April 19, 1941 in English, Indiana.
Olive was a homemaker and member of the New Hope General Baptist Church in Birdseye. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Olive was a talented woman. She was an excellent cook and previously owned her own restaurant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter J. “Doug” Partenheimer, who passed away December 8, 2010; and one brother, Jerome Peterson.
She is survived by two daughters and two son-in-laws, Carolyn Sue (Wesley) Haas and Bonna Lou (Joe) Huey, both of Princeton; one brother and sister-in-law, Gene (Neva) Peterson of Birdseye; five grandsons, John (Jennifer) Huey of Denham Springs, La., Shawn (Becky) Haas of Princeton, Jeff (Angie) Huey of Princeton, Jared (Anna) Huey of Owensville, Vaughn (Skye) Haas of Mt. Olympus, and 12 great grandchildren, Jacob Huey, Jordyn Huey, Jarrin Huey, Jevin Huey, Jacie Huey, Rayne Haas, Kade Haas, Brandt Haas, Alana Haas, Colton Haas, Jordan Hatten and Brandon Hatten.
Funeral services for Olive Partenheimer will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. Reverend Wesley Haas will officiate at the service.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from noon to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, the day of the funeral. Memorial donations can be made to the Gibson General Hospital 5th Floor Activity Fund.
