Oli Mora Regalado, 53, Huntingburg

Oli Mora Regalado, 53, of Huntingburg, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at her residence. 

She was born December 30, 1971, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Hilario Mora Alanis and Maria Adela Regalado.

She married Juan Alanis Arteaga on January 29, 1994, in Tarandacuao, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Our beloved Oli was called home on April 14, 2025. She was sweet, kind and gentle. She devoted her life to care for those she loved most, her family.  On any given day, you could find her in the kitchen preparing one of her favorite dishes or experimenting with a new recipe. Oli led a faith-centered life and enjoyed going for walks and dancing.

She is survived by her husband, Juan Alanis Arteaga of Huntingburg, her father, Hilario Mora Alanis of Huntingburg; siblings, Celestino Mora Regalado of California, Hilario Mora Regalado (Rosa Angeles) of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Lorena Mora Regalado (J Refugio Flores), Rene Mora Regalado (Berenice Barrientos), Galdino Mora Regalado all of Huntingburg and Mayra Mora Regalado of Birdseye; and many relatives and friends who loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Adela Regalado; and maternal grandparents, Galdino Regalado (Juliana Valdez).

A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Homero Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from noon to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, April 21, 2025. A rosary prayer vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
