Oleta Sendelweck, 95
Oleta Sendelweck, age 95 of Haysville, Indiana passed away at 1:20 a.m. Sunday (March 4, 2012) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born May 12, 1916 in Harbison Township to Erhart and Amiela (Eisenhut) Arnold. She married Ed Sendelweck on September 19, 1944 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1974.
Oleta was a homemaker and member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville – WELCA of St. Paul’s and the Haysville Senior Citizens.
She loved to garden, quilting – embroidery and playing cards.

- Larry J. Sendelweck and spouse Mary, Haysville, IN
- Robert L. Sendelweck and spouse Sandy, Plainfield, IN
- Delbert Sendelweck and spouse Dorien, Indianapolis, IN
Nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are two granddaughters who died in infancy.
Funeral services for Oleta Sendelweck will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (March 7, 2012) in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. The Rev. Charla Grieves will officiate.
Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. to 8 :00 p.m. Tuesday (March 6, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
Memorial service will be held by WELCA of St. Paul’s at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
