Old National’s ‘100 Cooks Who Care’ fundraiser nets $210,000

Funds raised support the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (NASDAQ: ONB) – Old National Bank announced a $210,000 donation to the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition from its signature fundraiser, 100 Cooks Who Care, held Sept. 7, 2024, at the Huntingburg Event Center in Huntingburg, Ind.
Old National’s fifth biannual event saw its Jasper Market top $1 million raised locally through 100 Cooks Who Care events since 2014. The event featured unique dishes served by local chefs, live music, and live and silent auctions.
Past beneficiaries of 100 Cooks Who Care are the Indiana National Guard Relief Fund, the E5 Foundation and Dubois County Leukemia Association, CASA of Dubois County with expansion into Orange County, and Mentors for Youth and Crisis Connection.
Local event sponsors this year included Best Home Furnishings, Jasper Group, Memorial Hospital, Norris, Blessinger & Woebkenberg Orthopaedics & Spine, OFS Brands, Ruxer Ford, TrueScripts Management Services, and WITZ Radio.
The Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition provides a safe reporting location for child victims of abuse, serving Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Orange, Perry, and Spencer counties. SWICACC is a non-profit organization founded in 2009, when it was recognized that children victims of maltreatment did not have a child advocacy center within their community.
