Novy Lee Andry, 84, Marengo

Novy Lee Andry, 84, of Marengo, passed away December 30 at his home.

He was born March 12, 1936, in Paoli, to parents, Levi & Lilly Mable (Smith) Andry.

He married Colleen F. Noblitt on August 24, 1957.

Novy was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Ford Motor Company. He had also worked at Paoli Chair Factory, formerly of Paoli. Novy attended Hillview Christian Church. He loved Paoli High School sports and loved his grandkids. Novy enjoyed giving, especially produce.

He is survived by his daughters, Laura Line (Ron) of Marengo,, Jenny Ostrowski (Bryan) of Cumming, Ga., and Martina Stöklin-Wasser (Mischa) of Ettingen, Switzerland; sons, Paul Andry (Laurie Jo) of Paoli and Marty Andry (Tim) of New York, NY; grandchildren, Cameron Andry (Jessie) of Muncie, Shane Staggs (Andrea) of Paoli, Corey Andry (Lindsay) of Tell City, Caleb Andry (Courtney) of Paoli, CJ Andry (Sara) Tell City, Tyler Line of Indianapolis, Emily Line of Marengo, Tyson Line of Marengo, Aiden Line of Marengo, Addy Ostrowski and Preston Ostrowski of Cumming, Ga., and Gia Wasser and Maurice Wasser both of Ettingen, Switzerland; great-grandchildren,- Avery Staggs and Easton Staggs, both of Paoli, Norah Andry, Graham Andry, and Amelia Andry, all of Muncie, Charles Andry, Finn Andry, and Bennett Andry, all of Tell City, Peyton Andry of El Paso, Texas, and Meredith Sparks of Palmyra; siblings, Willard Andry of Paoli, Douglas Andry of Logansport, Irvin Andry of Greentown, Phillip Andry of Paoli, Bobby Andry of Paoli, Myra Stroud of Valeene, Rosie Stewart of Paoli, Diana Gilmore of Evansville, and Becky Jones of Campbellsburg; several nieces, nephews and cousins

Novy Lee Andry is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Colleen Andry, and sisters, Marjorie Clary and Marietta Bledsoe.

Due to the novel coronavirus, the family of Novy Andry has chosen to have a private service.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
