Northeast Dubois Senior volunteers 605 hours for scholarship

A Northeast Dubois High School senior was named this year’s recipient of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary’s Magy Clark Young Volunteer Scholarship.

Jasmine Vonderheide has completed 605 hours of volunteer service at the Memorial Hospital Gift Shop since her freshman year.

She plans on attending Indiana University Southeast to major in pediatric nursing with the ultimate hope of becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner.

The scholarship was presented by Shari Menielly (shown on left), Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Chairperson. Also shown is Jasmine’s mother, Carrie.
