Norman R. Troutman, 94, of Princeton, Indiana and formerly of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014, in the Gibson County General Hospital , Princeton, Indiana.

He was born at Montgomery, Indiana on November 9, 1919 to Henry and Margaret (Hughes) Troutman. First marriage to Mildred Perkins who preceded him in death on June 12, 1990. Second marriage to Emma Lou McAtee October 6, 2007 at Princeton, Indiana.

Norman retired from the Jasper Office Furniture Company (JOFCO), where he had worked for many years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing also good at woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Emma Troutman; daughters, Marla Newman of Clearwater, Fla., Sharon Himsel and husband Delbert Junie, of Ireland, Charlene Schitter of Velpen, and Debbie Ehling of Kansas City, Mo.; sons, Gary Troutman of Brookville, Fla., and Alan Troutman of.Thomason, Ga.; brother, Ellsworth Troutman of Washington; sister, Wilma Smith of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death besides his first wife is a son, George Perkins; daughter, Judy Kortzendorf; brother, Briscoe Troutman; sisters, Maxine Frye and Colleen Wininger.

Funeral services for Norman Troutman will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014, in Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper. Rev. Timothy Kraemer t will officiate.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Cemetery, Christ Lutheran Church, Fairview Presbyterian Christian Church or a favorite charity. Condolences may be made at www.becherkluesner.com.
