Norma L. Kerstiens, 72

Norma L. Kerstiens, 72, of Fulda, passed away, Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

Norma was born April 12, 1942 in Fulda to Thomas and Bertha (Mehling) Dilger. She married Dennis H. Kerstiens on June 30, 1962 in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda.

Norma retired from Masterbrand Cabinets in Ferdinand. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish and its Ladies Sodality. Norma belonged to the Fulda Sportsman Club and the Fulda Card Club. She was an avid quilter and loved playing cards.

Norma is survived by her husband Dennis Kerstiens of Fulda; two daughters, Karen Ketzner and husband Joe of Ferdinand, Debra Moore and husband Stacy of Huntingburg; three sons, Randall J. Kerstiens and wife Sandra of Ferdinand, Rick T. Kerstiens and wife Anita of St. Meinrad and Dave W. Kerstiens of Mariah Hill; eleven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; two great grandchildren also survive. Norma was preceded in death by a brother, Wilfred Dilger.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. CST in St. Boniface Church in Fulda with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. CST and Wednesday from 7:00-9:30 a.m. CST at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Restoration Fund or a favorite charity.
