Nora Fleck, 80, St. Anthony

Nora Fleck, 80, of St. Anthony, passed away at 4:07 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019, at her home.

She was born on July 4, 1939 at Kyana to Clifford and Elsie (Waddell) Huff. She married Ralph B. Fleck on August 30, 1958, in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2016.

Nora retired from Pine Ridge Elementary School where she worked as a cook in the cafeteria. She is a member of  Divine Mercy Parish – St. Anthony Campus, Christian Mothers Sodality, St. Anthony Community Center, Schnellville Community Club, Schnellville Conservation Club and the Birdseye Red Hats Society.

She is survived by three daughters, Connie Schnell and husband, Melvin, of Celestine, Wanda Recker of St. Anthony, and Elaine Fleck and companion, Kurt Rauscher, of Huntingburg; two sons, Rick Fleck and wife, Carla, of Kyana and Brian Fleck and wife, Jenny, of St. Anthony; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Preceding her in death one granddaughter, Sarah V. Fleck and a son-in-law, Keith Recker; one sister, Sarah Margaret Schroeder and three brothers, Henry Frank Huff, John Arthur Huff and Riley D. Huff.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019, in St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2019, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.

Rosary will be held at 2:45 p.m. Monday by the Christian Mothers Sodality at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Cemetery Fund.
