No foul play suspected in community corrections participant’s death

Jasper — A Dubois County Community Corrections participant was found dead at the center early Wednesday morning.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and Memorial Emergency Medical Services responded to the center at 3:55 a.m. to the report of an unresponsive man identified as Christopher A. Klee, 29, of Jasper.

Klee was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dubois County Coroner.

Preliminary results of an autopsy conducted this morning revealed that Klee died of natural causes.

No foul play is suspected, according to the sheriff’s department.

Toxicology samples were taken but it will be several weeks before the results will be available.
