Nicholas L. Ebert, 27

Nicholas L. Ebert, age 27, of Huntingburg, Indiana passed away at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born on December 16, 1986 in Memphis, Tenn., to Harley and Patricia (Fritz) Ebert.
Nick worked as a sales professional at Jasper Engines and Transmissions.
He was a member of the Olympic Heights High School class of 2005 in Boca Raton, Florida and of the Christian Church of Jasper.
He was a great athlete and enjoyed many sports, including, golf, baseball, softball, and basketball.
He is survived by his father, Harley Ebert, and his wife Monica, of Newnan, Ga.; one sister, Tara Ebert, and her fiancé, Michael Firestone, Miami, Fla.; one brother, Tyson Ebert and his fiancée, Rachel Rogers, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one stepbrother, Austin Towler, of Newnan, Ga.; girlfriend, Allie Fleck, of Jasper; maternal grandmother, Lillian Fritz, of St. Anthony; paternal grandfather, Tony Ebert, of Ferdinand.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Patricia Ebert, his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Fritz, and his paternal grandmother, Hilda Ebert.
Funeral services for Nicholas L. Ebert will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at the Christian Church of Jasper, with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Schnellville. Rev. Darrel Land will officiate.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the Christian Church of Jasper and from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service time at the church on Wednesday.
