Netta Mae Barkley, 80, French Lick

Netta Mae Barkley, 80, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on July 17, 2021, at University of Louisville Hospital.

She was born in Dubois County on May 12, 1941, to Edward G. and Anna M. (Nigg) Kalb.

Netta married Clarence Barkley on May 18th, 1957 and he survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roy Barkley; two brothers, Walter and Wilfred Kalb.

Netta was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dubois, Indiana, and retired from Pluto Corporation.

Netta is survived by her husband, Clarence Barkley of French Lick; two daughters, Ruth Meehan (Robert) of French Lick and Linda Radtke (Stewart) of French Lick; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be conducted on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana with burial to follow in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

Visitation for friends will be Tuesday, July 20th, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 21st, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
