Naurine Mae Thomas, 98
Naurine Mae Thomas, age 98, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Friday (July 13, 2012) at the Professional Care Rehab Center In Dale, Indiana.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 1, 1914 to Martin and Rose (Zipperly) Andersen Sr. She married Clinton Thomas on March 2, 1935, he preceded her in death on November 30, 1996.
Naurine was a member of the English Congregational United Church of Christ in Big Rock, Illinois and a active member of its “willing workers”.
She retired from the Lyon Metal Company at Aurora, Illinois where she worked in administration for many years.
Naurine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and aunt who will be missed by her family and friends.

Five grandchildren,

- Noah Thomas, U.S. Marine Corp
- Asher Thomas, U.S. Coast Guard.
Also five great grandchildren,
- Lindsay Haas, Dallas, TX
- Emily Haas, Arvada, CO
- Brittany Stattler, Albuquerque, NM
- Bryce Stattler, St. George, UT
One great great grandson, Mason Cone.
Preceding her in death besides her husband is one son, Larry Thomas. Brothers, Stanley Andersen, and Martin Andersen Jr.
Private graveside services will be held at Big Rock Illinois West Cemetery at a later date.

Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper are in care of the arrangements.
