Nathan M. Acuff, 36

Nathan M. Acuff, 36, Phoenix, Ariz., died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, in Phoenix.

He was born in Jasper on Aug. 11, 1979.

Mr. Acuff had attended schools in Jasper and Northeast Dubois High School in Dubois. He enjoyed nature, the outdoors and camping. He was a bass player and played with several bands in the Phoenix area.

Surviving are a daughter, Uriah Acuff of Phoenix; his mother and stepfather, Karen and Brian Terwiske of Dubois; his father and stepmother, Curt and Mary Acuff of French Lick; a sister Celeste Gregory and husband Adam of Jasper; two half-brothers, Adamas and Ammon Acuff, both of French Lick; a half-sister, Aerienne Acuff of French Lick; three stepsisters; four stepbrothers; and a niece.

A celebration of life memorial service was Thursday, Nov. 5, in Cave Creek, Ariz.

Memorial contributions may be made to a college fund for his daughter.

Tempe Mortuary in Phoenix was in charge of arrangements.
