Nancy Rauscher, 84

Nancy Rauscher, age 84, of Evansville, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away Monday evening, September 9, 2013 at her residence.

She was born September 11, 1928 in Birdseye, Indiana to Hilbert and Vivian (Miles) Schnell.

Nancy was a homemaker, a member of Central Christian Church in Huntingburg where she taught Sunday school, a former Cub Scout den leader, sang as a vocalist for funeral services in Birdseye, and enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.

She was preceded in death by: one brother, Garnett Schnell; and one sister, Connie Bohnenkamper.

She is survived by: her husband, William J. “Bill” Rauscher of Evansville; one son & daughter-in-law, Bret (Debi) Rauscher of Evansville; one sister, Pat Mateer of Nashville, TN; and two grandsons, Joshua and Joey Rauscher at home.

Funeral services for Nancy Rauscher will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. The Rev. Paula Young Mayberry will officiate at the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-8:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Thursday.
