Nancy J. Fuhrman, 71

Nancy J. Fuhrman, age 71, formerly of Otwell, Indiana, passed away at 6:15 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born February 9, 1942 in Zoar, Indiana to Melvin and Lorene (Kamman) Weitkamp. She married Robert A.G. Fuhrman on September 26, 1964 at the Zoar United Methodist Church in Zoar.

Nancy was a retired sales clerk at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Otwell United Methodist Church and became a member of the Avon Heights Church of Christ when she went to live with her daughter in Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert A.G. Fuhrman, who died March 22, 2002; and two brothers, Phillip and David Weitkamp.

She is survived by:

Two daughters and one son-in-law,

Susan (Daniel) Yokem of Alfordsville, IN

Sarah Fuhrman of Indianapolis, IN

One brother,

Ken Weitkamp of Richmond, KY

and two grandchildren,

Matthew and Meghan Yokem both of Alfordsville, IN.

Funeral services for Nancy J. Fuhrman will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Otwell United Methodist Church in Otwell with burial to follow at the Otwell Cemetery. Rev. Wes Garris and Rev. Joe Kamman will officiate the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Wednesday; and also at the Otwell United Methodist Church from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Thursday morning, prior to the funeral.
