Musgrave newest Dubois County deputy

Logan Musgrave was recently sworn in as the newest Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

Logan graduated from Jasper High School in 2011 and has since demonstrated a commitment to serving his country and community.

Logan’s journey in law enforcement began in 2011 when he enlisted in the Indiana National Guard, where he dedicated six years of service as a military police officer. During his tenure, Logan displayed dedication, discipline, and a strong sense of duty, being promoted to the rank of sergeant for his outstanding service.

In 2015, Logan’s commitment to duty led him to deployment with the Indiana National Guard, where he displayed exceptional bravery and professionalism while protecting our nation.

Following his honorable service with the Indiana National Guard, Logan transitioned to civilian law enforcement, where he served as a police officer with the Santa Claus Police Department for the past four years. During this time, he consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in community policing and earned the trust and respect of the Santa Claus community.

Now, Logan returns to his roots, eager to serve the community he grew up in as a Deputy Sheriff with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.

“I am thrilled to be working with the great men and women of the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office,” he said. “I hope to build a strong relationship with the residents of Dubois County and continue my lifelong commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.”

Sheriff Kleinhelter stated, “We are excited to welcome Logan to our team. His military background and experience as a police officer will undoubtedly be valuable assets to the Sheriff’s Office and the community. We are confident that he will play a significant role in maintaining the safety and security of Dubois County.”
