Movie planned for Christmas Lake Village

A film crew representing Silver Sail Entertainment is interested in shooting large section of the feature film “Just be Claus” in the Santa Claus area between December 13th, 2013 and January 14th, 2014.

According to the company’s website, the comedy features the story of Nick, a young man in Austin who has never enjoyed Christmas. After he witnesses a crime, Nick is placed in the Witness Protection Program in Santa Claus, Ind. during the holiday season. While there, he learns to love the holiday all over again.

Tanner Beard, President of Silver Sail Entertainment, co-wrote and will direct the film. The film will be produced by Suzanne Weinert, together she and Beard have worked on 5 feature films including the western
The Legend of Hell’s Gate” and, most recently, “Hellion,” starring Aaron Paul from the hit show, “Breaking Bad.”

A crew will be filming the exterior of decorated homes at Christmas Lake Village during the weekend of December 13 through 15.
