Monastery Immaculate Conception furniture sale set for September 16.
Ferdinand — On Saturday, September 16, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. EDT, the Sisters of St. Benedict will hold an enormous Home Furnishings Sale at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana.
Funds raised by the sale will be used to support the various ministries of the Sisters.
The Home Furnishings Sale will be held in the Lower Annex at the southeast corner of the monastery building. Parking will be available in designated parking spaces on the drive along the hill, in the lot next to the Grotto or in the lot in front of the Event Hall. Those interested in the sale may enter through the east door of the Lower Annex. Parking in front of the east door is reserved for those who are loading their purchases. All purchases must be removed during the day of the sale between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and payment must be made with cash or a check (no credit cards or debit cards can be accepted at this time).
Items in the Home Furnishings Sale include a wide variety of tables, desks, chairs, bookcases, dressers, mirrors, cabinets, lamps, filing cabinets, small household items, dishes, glassware, kitchen items, and much more.
Whether someone is looking for an antique or special piece for their home, or just starting out furnishing an apartment or home on a budget, there will be something for everybody in the sale. The inventory includes items which have been donated as well as many that have been in use at the monastery over the years, and features many one-of-a-kind items.
