Minnie Guthrie, 81, Campbellsburg

Minnie Guthrie, 81, of Campbellsburg, formerly of Paoli, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Paoli Health & Living.

She was born on October 27, 1938, in Paoli to Herman Milligan and Margaret Pearl Hughes. Minnie married Floyd Guthrie on June 15, 1985, and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2001.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son-in-law, Dean Schuler.

Minnie was a member of the Paoli First Baptist Church.

She worked at Travelers in Orleans. Minnie retired from Smith Cabinet in Salem. She enjoyed spending time with family.

Survivors include one son, Donald Fred (Edie) Chapman of Jasper; one daughter, Beth Chapman Schuler of Jasper; one stepson, Steve Guthrie of Salem; two sisters, Betty Slayton and Bonnie (Roger) Elliott, both of Paoli; one granddaughter, Stacey Allen of Evansville; and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Stampers Creek Cemetery. Pastor Lyndel Manship will officiate.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service on Thursday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli.
