Ministry to hand out free school supplies, backpacks

A local Christian nonprofit, L4G (Living for God), will pass out backpacks and school supplies on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the Jasper Riverwalk.

The group will provide the supplies for free between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. or until supplies run out near Buehler Plaza at the shelter house closest to the Riverwalk parking lot located at the end of East Fourth Street.

For those coming by, the volunteers will be wearing masks and will meet you at your vehicle.
