Milton P. “Fisherman” Hodges, 88, of Dale

Milton P. “Fisherman” Hodges, 88, of Dale, passed away at his home on Monday, September 11, 2023.

Milton was born on April 6, 1935, in Louisville, Ky., to Roland and Barbara (Brosmer) Hodges.

He was united in marriage with Charlene Marie Fleener on June 20, 1981.

Milton was a truck driver for many years. He was a volunteer fireman for the Jasper Fire Department. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Charlene Hodges; three sons, James and Michael Fleener of Louisville and Timothy Hodges of Jasper; two daughters, Krystle Hodges of French Lick and Becky Long of Evansville; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Per Milton’s wishes, there will be no services held.
