Mill Street water main work to close sections of street

Jasper–On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the City of Jasper, along with its contractor, will be closing Mill Street at the intersection with Ninth Street to Tenth Street for work in conjunction with the Mill Street Watermain Replacement Project.

With this project, the city will be replacing an existing 4-inch water main with an 8-inch water main from Ninth Street to Fifteenth Street. 

This project requires a daily block-by-block closure of Mill Street within the block that the work is taking place. Residents need to have their vehicles off of Mill Street for the affected block by 7 a.m. daily.

The street will be open in the evenings and overnight.
