Mildred V. Hembree, 81

Mildred V. Hembree, age 81, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 4:00 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born August 8, 1931 near Lincoln City in Spencer County, Indiana to Adam and Nettie (Gorer) Nord.

Mildred was a retired employee of the Indiana Desk Company. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mildred was preceded in death by: her parents; one son, Larry F. Bockting, who died May 24, 1999; two brothers, Elmer and Walter Nord; and one sister, Loretta Koenig.

She is survived by:

Gary L. Bockting – Huntingburg, IN

Steve J. Bockting – Ferdinand, IN

Four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mildred V. Hembree will be held at 4:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Wednesday, the day of the service.
