Mildred M. Blesch, 88

Mildred M. Blesch, age 88, of Indianapolis, formerly of Holland, Indiana, passed away at 12:04 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013 at The Hearth at Windermere in Fischers, Indiana.

She was born February 19, 1925 in Jasper, Indiana to Basil Frank and Frieda (Hurst) Tempel.

She married Wm. Derris Blesch on March 31, 1950 in Jasper.

Mildred was a homemaker; a member of St. Henry Parrish and lifetime member of the St. Henry Christian Mothers; and a former member of the Huntingburg Country Club where she was an avid golfer.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wm. Derris Blesch; one son, William Blesch II; one brother, Basil F. Tempel Jr.; and one sister, Armella T. Kent.

She is survived by three daughters and two son-in-laws, Jill Blesch of Indianapolis, Sara (George) Harpe of Athens, Ga., and Lora (Brett) Nelson of Fischers, Ind.; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty (Jerry) Kemp of Loogootee; four grandchildren, Emily Kiousis, Betsy Harpe, Derris and Bryce Nelson; and a great-grandchild, Lex Kiousis

Funeral services for Mildred M. Blesch will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry with burial to follow at the St. Henry Cemetery.

Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
