Mildred E. Britton, 84

Mildred E. Britton, age 84, of Holland, Indiana, passed away at 7:03 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born October 3, 1929 in Oakdale, Kentucky to Alex Hargis and Grace (Caundiff) Wilson. She married Howard S. Britton, Jr. in 1948 at Covington, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2003. Mildred was also preceded in death by: one brother, George Wilson; and one sister, Helma Hemrey.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Mike) Twomley-Kuntz of Jasper, and Marsha Daniels of Los Osos, Ca.; by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
