Michael Ray Wahl, 75, of Saint Petersburg
Mike was born on July 9, 1940 to Michael and Alma (Miller) Wahl in Huntingburg.
He was a lieutenant in the Army National Guard. Mike worked in the woodworking sales and manufacturing industry in Indiana and Florida. He was a member of The St. Petersburg Bridge Club, Clearwater Bridge Club, and The Pasadena Bridge Club. Mike was a Silver Life Master tournament bridge player.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Bernadette “Bernie” Brown; sister, Debra Wooten of Holland; children, Michelle Koontz (Mark Kluemper) of St. Anthony; son, Michael Ray Wahl Jr. (Kay) of Huntingburg; Myra Wahl (Cindy Cox) of West Hartford, Conn.; nieces, Linda Schnaus, Rachel Wooten; nephew, Joe Wahl; grandchildren, Nicole, Sarah, Amy, Kayli, Jack, Claire and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by father, Michael Frank Wahl; mother, Alma June Wahl; brothers, Billy Wahl and David Wahl.
A gathering will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4 p.m. To 7 p.m. at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. Street North, 33704.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to, The St. Petersburg Bridge Club, Clearwater Bridge Club, or The Pasadena Bridge Club.
