Michael L. Burke, 49, St. Anthony

Michael L. Burke, 49, of St. Anthony, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the Timbers of Jasper.

Mike was born on December 11, 1966, in Jasper, IN, to Clarence and Barbara (Kreilein) Burke. He married Kathi Stetter on December 5, 1992, in St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Mike worked for Indiana Furniture Industries in Jasper. He was a graduate of the Jasper High School Class of 1985. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He enjoyed farming, hunting and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Kathi Burke of St. Anthony; one son, Ryan Burke of St. Anthony; mother, Barbara Burke of Jasper; two sisters, Dianne Beauvois and husband David of Cape Coral, Fla. and Mary Salazar and husband Jorge of Cape Coral, Fla.; two brothers, Dan Burke of Jasper and Steve Burke and wife Cheryl of Jasper; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father, Clarence Burke.

Funeral services for Mike Burke will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana and one hour before the mass at church on Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Volunteer Fire Department, Heart to Heart Hospice, or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
