Michael J. Schwoeppe, 64, St. Henry

Michael J. Schwoeppe, 64, of St. Henry, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018, at Willowdale Village in Dale.

Michael was born December 25, 1953, in Huntingburg to Floyd J. and Angeline K. (Durcholz) Schwoeppe.

He was a member of Saint Henry Parish, Huntingburg Eagles and The National Tractor Pulling Association. He was an avid Indiana University fan. He was a retired truck driver for Henke Farms and several other trucking companies.

He is survived by one brother, David (Sue) Schwoeppe of St. Henry; nieces and nephews, Crystal Cooper, Jonathan Cooper, Chasity Schwoeppe, Ashley Schwoeppe and Tiffany Schwoeppe; and several great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Michael Schwoeppe will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, in St. Henry Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 7 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
