Michael H. Hurst, 63
Michael H. Hurst, age 63, of Arthur, IL, formerly of Jasper, passed away at 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 7 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.
Michael was born in Jasper, Indiana on November 27, 1949 to Oscar and Myrtle (Sallee) Hurst.
Michael retired from Masterbrand Furniture in Jasper, where he had worked in management for many years.
He was an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam war.
He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Indianapolis Colts Fan.

Preceding him in death beside his parents is one brother Gregory J. Hurst and one sister Jackie Crouse.
Funeral services for Michael H. Hurst will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. The VFW Post #673 will conduct military graveside rites.
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, August, 9 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
