Michael E. Sanders, 62, Evansville

Michael E. Sanders, 62, of Evansville, passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at home.

Michael was born in El Paso, Texas, on July 1, 1955, to Robert and Barbara (Clinkenbeard) Sanders.

Michael was a carpenter and worked construction for many years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He enjoyed flying kites.

Surviving are one daughter, Michelle Braig, and her husband Shane, Oklahoma City, Okla., one son, John Sanders, San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Cathy Randolph and her husband John of Jasper, Kelly Stephens and her husband Brandon of Bloomfield; three brothers, Wayne Sanders of Jasper, B.J. Sanders of Odon and Kojak Sanders and his wife Darra of Slidell, La.; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Private services were held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper.
