Michael E. “Mike” Wilkins, 70, Otwell

Michael E. “Mike” Wilkins, 70, of Otwell, passed away surrounded by family at 3:40 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at The Timbers of Jasper.

Mike was born in Vincennes on January 26, 1956, to Henry and Martha (Cox) Wilkins.

He loved fishing, watching NASCAR and old Westerns, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by two children, Jamie (Roberto) Canales of Jasper and Jeremy Wilkins of Jasper; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Michael) Capehart of Otwell; one niece, Christine Robinson; and great-nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents and three nephews, Wesley, Noel, and David Capehart.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
