Michael A. Van Sell, 60

Michael A. Van Sell, 60, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 3:37 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Mike was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on September 29, 1955, to Bernard and Patricia (Harris) Van Sell. He married Diane Zielewski on March 14, 1997 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Mike was a lifetime musician, as he loved to sing and play the guitar. He was currently working as a merchandiser for Acosta. He was a member of the American Legion Post #147.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Zielewski of Jasper; one brother, Bernie Van Sell of Center Point, Ind.; one nephew, Nate Van Sell and his wife Sarah of Terre Heute; one niece, Shannon McDonald and her husband Mitch of Terre Heute; grandnephew and grandnieces, Chase, Shaye, and Shelbie McDonald.

Preceding him in death are one sister, Mary Van Sell, and a brother, Daniel Van Sell, who died in infancy.

A Memorial Mass for Michael A. Van Sell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015, at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper.
