Meyer Distributing expands Portland warehouse and delivery

Meyer Distributing, Inc. announced the expansion of its Portland, Ore. distribution center and expanded deliveries in Oregon and Washington.

“Meyer has operated in the Northwest for about six months. We have built a solid account base in a short amount of time by bringing hard to find products locally to the market via our logistics network,” said Jeff Braun, CFO Meyer Distributing. “Our inventory breadth is a significant advantage, and many dealers have been using us for those difficult to find items and are starting to benefit on more common items from our local Portland stock as well.”

The company’s increased volume in the new RV segment has warranted speeding up the expansion timeline of the Portland warehouse. They are also increasing the delivery frequency to many areas that were previously only delivered to once per week; those areas include McMinnville, Bremerton, Oak Harbor, Mount Vernon, and Bellingham to name a few.

“We are thankful that many dealers not only in this region, but nationwide, have entrusted Meyer as a supplier option keeping us on their call lists while we work to earn their trust to be a top call,” says Jason Lents, the RV/Towing Category Sales Manager for Meyer. “We continue to invest significant dollars to increase our RV product stock levels nationally, which has benefited our dealers as they get stocked up for the busy 2016 season ahead. As a family owned company, we realize the importance of outstanding customer service and being able to provide the parts in a timely manner at very competitive prices that RV Dealers need to grow their businesses.”
