Menjivar appointed to Dubois County Election Board

The Dubois County Democratic Party chairperson, Mike Kendall announced that Eber Menjivar of Jasper has been appointed to serve on the Dubois County Election Board as the Democratic Party representative.

“Menjivar is an outstanding young man that has a proven record of leadership, and will serve the people of Dubois County well,” stated Kendall.

Currently, Eber serves as the president of ALASI (Association of Latin Americans in Southern Indiana) and has been active in Dubois County community organizations for many years. He is employed at Kimball Electronics.

Eber is replacing John Birk who stepped down from the Election Board to run in the May 2022 Primary Election.

The election board is a three-person board that also includes the Dubois County Clerk-Treasurer Amy Kippenbrock and Roger Messmer, who serves as the representative for the Republican Party.
