Memorial Hospital’s G.I. Lab Awarded with “Excellence in Professionalism”

Jasper – Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s Gastrointestinal (G.I.) Lab has been recognized with an “Excellence in Professionalism” award by The American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses.

The award was received because 50% or more of the hospital’s G.I. Lab staff is certified in gastroenterology. Currently, six of the nine nurses in the department have their certification. Paula Britt serves as Surgical Services Director, and Sid Fritch is the G.I. Lab Manager.
