Memorial Hospital announces 2011 LCM Award Winner

Jasper – Suzanne Burgess has been named the 2011 Little Company of Mary Award winner at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. The LCM Award is given annually to an employee nominated by his or her co-workers and chosen from a group of finalists by the hospital’s Mission Committee.

Nominees for this award demonstrate Memorial Hospital’s mission and core values through their daily work.

Suzanne began working at Memorial Hospital in 1997 as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department. In August of 2006, she became the first Pediatric manager at Memorial Hospital, and in 2008, became director of Post-Surgical and Pediatric Units. In 2009, Suzanne also took on the role of director of Clinical Education and Support Services. Suzanne has been a registered nurse for over 24 years.
