Melba M. Baker, 90
Melba M. Baker, age 90 of Haysville, Indiana passed away at 6:08 p.m. Saturday (February 25, 2012) at River Bend Assisted Living in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
She was born on July 31, 1921 in Dubois, Indiana to Oscar and Anna (Neukam) Breitwieser. She married Lenis W. Baker on November 22, 1945 at Emmanuel Hill Lutheran Church at Dubois. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2000.
Melba was a homemaker and former employee of the Jasper Glove Company in Jasper.
She is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary to post # 673 in Jasper.

Preceding her in death besides her husband, One daughter, Mary Ann Baker and one grandson Eric Hall. One sister, Vera Rein. Two brothers, Robert Lee Breitwieser and Ralph Breitwieser.
Funeral services for Melba Baker will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (March 3, 2012) in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday (March 2, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
