Megan E. Rogier, 48, Tell City
Megan E. Rogier, 48, passed away on May 5, 2025.

She was born in Tell City on February 26, 1977, a daughter of Benjamin R. and Sara J. (Mehringer) Rogier.
Megan was a 1995 Tell City High School graduate and had worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital since interning there in her junior year of high school. Due to Megan’s health issues and the onset of COVID-19, she decided it was in her best interest to retire from the job she loved after 26 years.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and in 1993, traveled to Denver, Colorado with the church’s youth group to participate in the World Youth Conference, enabling them to get to see Pope John Paul II in person. She considered that experience to be one of her most fond memories.
Megan was blessed with nieces and nephews who offered her many trips to the ballpark, gym, or school. She always looked forward to watching them participate in academic and sporting activities. Family togetherness was of utmost importance to her.
She is survived by her parents, Ben and Sara Rogier; sisters, Vicki Mathena (Joe) and her twin, Nicole Hausmann (Jonathan); nieces and nephews, Madison, Nathan, and Dylan Mathena, Kodey and Emma Hausmann; and her dog, Sophie.
Megan is preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Rogier.
The family would like to thank Perry County Memorial Hospital, Heart-to-Heart Hospice and Oakwood Health Campus. She was only there for a short time, but the nurses and staff always made her feel special, and for that, the family is so appreciative.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. CDT on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church Religious Ed.
