Maxine E. Weisman, 87
Maxine E. Weisman, age 87 of Jasper, passed away at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday January 23, 2013, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born November 14, 1925 in Martin County to John and Ardella (Mauder) Cochran. She married Carl H. Weisman September 18, 1947; He preceded her in death May 9, 2004.
Maxine retired from the Dubois County Jail where she worked as a Matron for many years.
She is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper.

Three daughters;
- Beverly Kleiser and her husband Frank, Jasper, IN
- Janet Matthews and her husband Michael, Jasper, IN
- Vicki Bretz and her husband Dan, Huntingburg, IN
One son, Jeffrey Weisman and his wife Sheryl, Jasper, IN
Eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
One step-sister, Mildred Baer, Jasper, IN
Preceding her in death besides her husband is her daughter -in-Law Linda Weisman and one brother Victor Cochran and one sister Alice Fry. Also one Step- brother Robert Buchta.
Funeral services for Maxine Weisman will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday (January 28, 2013) In Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. The Rev. Adam Ruschau will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday (January 27, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
