Matthew K. Woolsey, 34, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Jasper, passed away on Friday, May 27,2016, in Columbus, Ohio.

Matt was born on October 17, 1981 in Jasper, Indiana to Marlon and Rosemary (Streicher) Woolsey.

Matt worked for Stens Corporation as an outside sales representative for the Ohio region. He was a graduate of the Jasper High School class of 2000 and a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper. He enjoyed outdoor activities, camping, golfing, cycling, kayaking, fishing, and gardening.

He is survived by his parents, Marlon and Rosemary Woolsey of Jasper; one sister, Natalie Oliver and husband Josh of Fischers; grandfather, Jerome Streicher of Jasper; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Harmon and Joanne Woolsey and his maternal grandmother, Clara Streicher.

Private services will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper with burial to follow at a later date.
